Brazil Snapshot #4

This is photo #4 (of 50) in a series about our life in Brazil. In Brazil, making Chocolate Chip Cookies is a labor of love because you have to sift the lumps out of the brown sugar and chop up the chocolate bar before you can even get started. I must love my family since I make these quite often.

  1. It’s just that we have become so lazy here in USA and expect everything done for us. You’re right though, so much more love goes into your chocolate chip cookies.

  2. I’ve been using fair trade chocolate for my cookies, so have to hand chop it, too. It’s a labor of love. I don’t have to sift my sugar though!
