This is photo #38 (of 50) in a series about life in Brazil. The city of Brasília was designed in the shape of an airplane. All the major government buildings are in the body of the plane. The initial housing developments were in the north and south wings. (The map in the photo is not geographically correct since the south wing appears to be pointing northwest.) We live south of the south wing in the neighboring city of Aguas Claras.
