Brazil Snapshot #47

This is photo #47 (of 50) in a series about life in Brazil. We have seen these huge bags of vegetables for sale by the side of the road, but never purchases one until last week. For about $4.50 we brought home A LOT of produce. You can’t choose what’s inside so I’ve already learned how to cook four vegetables I’ve never cooked before: beets, eggplant, okra, and chayote. A lot easier than I expected and so delicious!

  1. I’m a little jealous. Sounds like an amazing bargain. I trust these veggies have not been sprayed with pesticide either.
